About Us

Kurt Hammond is a native English speaker with fluent Japanese ability and has lived in Japan for nearly ten years and understands the cultural nuances of American and Japanese business. Through years of experience working in the IT field, he has specific knowledge in the IT industry terminology.

Kurt completed an intensive Japanese language program in 1989 at Asia University in Tokyo. After several extended visits, he resettled in Japan in 1995. In 1997, he passed the highest level of the  Japanese Language Proficiency Test. In 2004, he received a score of 916 points - a 98th percentile score - on the practical test of Japanese for non-native speakers.  He holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and in 2001 attended an intensive MBA essentials executive education program at the University of Michigan Business School.

In the IT  field, he has completed several Microsoft certified training courses and was certified in Japanese for Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) status.

Miki Hammond is a native Japanese speaker and fluent in English conversation. Having lived in the United States for more than three years, she attended a special program for English as a foreign language and completed a range of general business vocational courses. 

After returning to Japan, she used her English skills in the Japanese international trading industry.
